Joseph (Chuck) Davis

I am so sorry... It is hard to believe... I will always remember Chuck as a brilliant, talented 17- year- old young man with whom I shared a lot of fun and deep friendship during my stay in the US. I was so impressed by his drawings in my year book as a gift of farewell, which reflected the story of my journey as a youngster to the new world...

Many years later, we communicated about our lives and the conditions of and anxieties about our countries. I know that he was a humanist wih international concerns for the good of all peoples of our world.

I would like to express my deep sorrow and sincere condolence to his family, his students and all his friends. I am sure he will be remembered by all his beloved and by the many creations he has offered us all through his life...
