Donald W. Hannum

Age 77 of Concordville, PA, passed away on April 10, 2022.

He graduated from Media High School and Served in the Navy.

He was a lifelong machinist and engine builder. He worked for Essington Metals, Scott Paper and GE Aerospace before starting his own Landscape business that he ran for over 30 years, up to the time of his passing. He loved Drag Racing and spending time with his Grandchildren. He was incredibly mechanically inclined and could fix or build anything.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary L. Hannum and his parents Walter P. and Lillian C. Hannum.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Dawn Hannum of Wake Forest NC, brother Ronald Hannum, sister Marcia Pennington and Grandsons Colton and Ezekiel (Zeke).

Funeral service on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11 am at the J. Nelson Rigby Funeral Home, 1 West Baltimore Ave. Media, Pa. 19063 where relatives and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Burial will be at Brandywine Baptist Church Cemetery, 1463 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford PA 19317.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Society.
