Comments:

We got married the same year as we graduated, and we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary this year along with our 50th reunion. We bought a little three bedroom, one bathroom house in High Meadow in 1966 as a starter home, and we are still here, although the house has grown as our family has expanded.
By putting on additions, we now have five bedrooms and four baths. We have a 32 year old foster son Donald with us, and my daughter, her husband and their two boys are living here. We're like a modified Brady Bunch I guess. We have been in this house for 47 years!
I never was one for change!

School Story:

I remember so well all the school sporting events, the parades, twirling batons, capes and flags. And of course, remembering Mr. Charles the band director.
I remember sitting with Ozen in the stands at a basketball game in January of 1963, talking about who I would probably end up marrying....and seeing my husband for the first time in the gym in the stands across from us.
I remember Miss Kitlaus, the young chemistry teacher whose experiments had a way of not really working.
And I remember the proms and the school trips, the Junior Variety Show, and learning to play chess with Art and Dan in my living room.
So many people hate the memories of their time in High School, but I count them as a time for learning, laughing, growing, and having a great time.

Packing boxes is a fun time. Craig Michael is on the left in the striped sweater.
